Coastal walk

SEASHORE WALK

Taghazout - Morocco

On this project, in continuity with the organization of the public spaces of the Taghazout station, we have continued to develop an indigenous plant palette with an identity character for the station. The almond tree is introduced as a flagship ornamental species, in addition to the argan trees, which are symbolic of the region.
The atypical traffic patterns promote the visitor experience through sinuous and sequenced routes, with the integration of parking areas at the beach accesses.
The soft traffic patterns, dissociated from the roads and organized as a large promenade, allow the discovery of the natural landscape of this maritime façade.
The public coastal walk, led by a large wooden decking, is animated by event relays such as kiosks, information points, beach cafés…
