ECOPOLYS VILLAGES NATURE
Marne-la-vallée - France
Located 6km from the Disney parks, the first French ecotourism park, “villages-nature” is an innovative destination designed to welcome the 16 million annual visitors of the first European tourist destination. Designed as a vast garden where families can stay and travel to the parks and to Paris, the Nature Villages offer a “unique green holiday” based on the “quest for man and nature”.
On a 520 ha site located in the communes of Bailly-Romainvilliers, Coutevroult and Villeneuve-le-Comte, several complementary villages combine the themes of Water, Earth and Forest.
This project, which will be developed over 15 to 20 years, will eventually offer a capacity of 20,000 to 25,000 beds. These visitors will have at their disposal 5,000 houses and apartments of tourist residences and a concentration of activities integrating all the components of the leisure universe: sports, artistic and pedagogical, intended for all European customers.
The 4 villages studied are each organized around a different theme:
the theme of the land, highlighting the French countryside, agricultural life, farms and crafts.
the theme of sport and health, offering numerous sports activities as well as a fitness centre and activities related to health and hygiene (dietetics, relaxation, etc.)
the theme of water, a water park with an outdoor lagoon heated all year round to 30°, thanks to geothermal energy.
the forest theme, an extension of Disney’s Ranch Davy Crockett with Davy Crockett’s Adventure.
